About Me
For over a decade, I’ve worked with students across STEM and ELA subjects, helping them not only improve their grades but also gain lasting confidence in their abilities. I’ve had the privilege of guiding more than 150 students through personalized SAT preparation, resulting in an average score increase of 200 points—a testament to the power of customized instruction and consistent effort.
I hold a B.A. in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy, a Master’s in Law Enforcement and Intelligence Analysis, and a second Master’s in Biblical Counseling with a Post-Traumatic and Acute Stress cognate. My academic background allows me to bridge analytical thinking with human understanding—an approach that resonates deeply with students from all walks of life.
During my time at Michigan State University, I served as a Teaching Assistant in the Math Department, where I taught college-level Precalculus and Trigonometry and tutored in the Math Learning Center. This experience sharpened my ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in ways that are clear, accessible, and relatable.
My Tutoring Approach
There’s no one-size-fits-all solution in education. Every student learns differently, and my mission is to meet each learner where they are. I design every session around the student’s unique strengths, goals, and learning style—no cookie-cutter plans or generic rubrics. I personally create and curate all instructional materials, ensuring that every resource is aligned with the student’s specific academic needs.
Whether it’s mastering trigonometric functions, crafting analytical essays, or preparing for the SAT, I focus on building a personalized roadmap to success that empowers students to think critically, problem-solve effectively, and take ownership of their learning.
