As a tutor I am looking to offer my varied experience and various subject area services to young and old alike. I believe that with the right teacher, anyone can learn how to learn, and improve their skills. My approach is a combination of listening, questioning, and getting my students to find the answers themselves through critical thinking and problem solving.
As a teacher, my job is to teach my students not only the subject matter, but how to become a more independent learner in general. I understand that every student is different and some may struggle where others thrive. It is my goal to help them find their way as best as they can so that they can be as successful as possible. I am always available to assist my students when they need me with the exception of Saturday from 3-5 PM and Sundays. Beyond those times, day or night, I am at your service.
