I've spent years serving as a corporate trainer, working closely with business planning, and overseeing multiple restaurants and retail operations in the hospitality industry. These years of experience offer first hand knowledge as to the importance of a solid math understanding in any profession.
My desire is to bring out the best in others. I tutor students by first understanding their concerns (fears/frustrations) and then approaching the concepts with them to dismantle those concerns. Yes, we are competing with other attention-grabbers, so we need to make learning fun and appealing, but we first need to remove the concerns and walls of defense to begin with an open mind.
Once we begin this journey together, along with the parents who want. to join us, progress is achieved.
I specialize in basic math principles, algebra, and geometry and enjoy working with students from 5th-12th grade.
