In addition to my professional mentoring, I have volunteered as an instructor for Computer Literacy for Seniors at Goodwill Industries in 2017. This involved one-on-one and small group sessions teaching fundamental computing skills, including email, internet browsing, and basic troubleshooting.
I have also coached youth sports (hockey, soccer, and softball) between 2015-2017 in the Piedmont-Triad area of North Carolina, where I developed effective communication skills with students of various ages. While not directly related to tutoring in programming, these experiences helped me hone my ability to teach, motivate, and foster a supportive learning environment.
I’ve also shared my knowledge at PyCarolinas 2012 as a speaker on "Iron Python with Visual Studio," helping attendees understand the IronPython programming language.
