I am a passionate 5th-grade Math teacher dedicated to helping students build confidence, mastery, and a genuine love for learning. I graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University in 2023 with my bachelor’s degree and am currently pursuing my master’s. I have experience teaching students across grades 2nd through 5th, allowing me to meet learners exactly where they are.

My tutoring sessions are intentional, structured, and engaging. Each lesson begins with a clear introduction, followed by explicit instruction taught in a fun, creative, and approachable way. I primarily use the “I Do, We Do, You Do” method to model skills, practice together, and then guide students toward independent mastery. Every lesson is thoughtfully adjusted to meet each student’s individual learning needs.

I also believe communication with families is essential. After each session, I provide feedback on what was covered, your child’s progress, and simple strategies you can use at home to continue strengthening their skills.

Teaching has always been my calling. From helping classmates and tutoring throughout high school to pursuing my education degree, I have always found joy in learning and I work hard to make sure my students feel the same way. I currently teach 34 students and regularly provide small-group instruction to ensure no child falls behind. My goal is to support your child academically while building their confidence and independence.

I am approachable, responsive, and always open to collaboration with students and parents. I welcome feedback, resources, and suggestions, and I pride myself on clear, timely communication.
