I grew up in a small SC town earning an eagle scout award in high school and enjoyed traveling out west and to Europe with the scouts and when in college I worked as the waterfront director at a boy scout camp in NC during the summers teaching swimming, life saving, rowing and canoeing to the young campers. I also taught a real estate paralegal course for a year at Columbia Junior College while in the practice of law sharing my abilities in that area of the law with a new breed of young folks desiring the legal assistance knowledge for a career.

My legal experience of over thirty years as a trial attorney in a civilian and military environment has left me with a deep regard as to how the correct use of the English language can be a best friend for your future growth. Speaking and writing English the correct way will open many doors that may at first appear closed. Public speaking is just another way of expressing yourself and if performed eloquently your points are taken seriously and along with the right body language you can accomplish wonders.

Our family has always been involved with education as mom taught high school history and was the pioneer professor with ETV at UNC and our daughter, a Coastal Carolina University graduate with a degree in English with technical business writing, plus a masters in health care has taught at the college level and my wife has trained models for Barbizon, a national modeling agency.
