Alex helped my 3rd grader with memorizing her multiplication tables. She was struggling on her multiplication assessments beforehand. He was very experienced with how to find her strengths and weaknesses. He knew how to gently challenge her and what ways worked best for my daughter. She reacted very well to the tutoring sessions and she was very proud of her passing assessment. It has also helped her confidence level as far as that goes. I plan on using Alex again in the future, maybe regularly. Thank you so much for your help and hard work!

My daughter had been out of school for 2 years and when she took her math entrance college test, it was a flop. As she came out of the testing lab, her reply when I questioned how she did was an almost tearful: "I did really bad but I know I knew how to do that math in high school. If I just had someone to remind me, I am sure I would do better." She stated she was able to take the test again within a few days and that is when I decided to see what I could do. Not being from the area, I quickly Googled Myrtle Beach Tutors and I came across this website. I found Mr. Alex's info and decided I would email just to see if this was an option. Mr. Alex contacted me within two hours and my daughter had a scheduled a session that evening. I have homeschooled my 4 children so tutors were an asset I had used in the past, but was I surprised when Rachel came afterwards and informed me that Mr. Alex was the best tutor she had ever had. She was excited to see how well she might do the next time she took her math test. As I was not there during the tutoring session, I really cannot say what all transpired, but what I can gladly write is how the results are. My girl was able to return to the testing center with confidence after only two hours with Mr. Alex. She scored over 40 points higher the second time on her test, which allowed her to skip two extra math classes, saving me over $1600 for the cost of the classes had she took them and two semesters of her time. Not only did it save us time and money, but it also gave her the extra boost of confidence to head on into the harder math with the knowledge that she can do this...and if she needs help, she knows Mr. Alex is there to assist her. Thank you Mr. Alex. You did awesome!
