I am a career coach, writer, and editor. I write and edit résumés and cover letters, conduct mock interviews, teach salary negotiation, and clarify the job-searching process. I have taught workshops and tutored people individually. I wrote a 9-part article series for DC Life Magazine's career column. I also work with a Web site on a video series for job seekers.

Since high school, I have always been involved in writing and editing. In college, I tutored fellow students in English composition. In my career, I have routinely documented project work. For five years, I specialized as a Technical Writer/Editor. After that, I taught English as a foreign language (EFL) to professionals in Mexico for more than two years. I have also started a business for career coaching, in which I assist people in writing resumes, cover letters, and college essays.

Soccer

I played soccer growing up, but I really learned the skills and drills of the game as an adult. When I organized my own team, I decided to improve my own level of play and practiced frequently. From there, I eventually learned and played goalkeeper, creating drills to practice on my own. Finally, I became a referee, and I understand the game in a whole new way. In short, I have learned the game of soccer from three different perspectives, and it looks different from each one.
