I have experience as a high school biology and chemistry tutor, an elementary math tutor, and extensive experience as a biology Teaching Assistant. My approach to tutoring is to make complicated and intimidating subjects more approachable. I’ll do this by explaining the individual parts of the problem to get the student to feel more confident in their understanding of the concept. I also believe in individualized tutoring, I tailor every session to the student so that they can best succeed.
I have experience teaching all ages of students, from elementary students all the way up to undergraduate students. My experience has been a mix of volunteer work, paid one-on-one tutoring, and classroom work. I am passionate about helping students understand complex problems and can’t wait to get to know each student.
