About Jenny

Bio

I am a passionate educator with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education (WCU), a Master’s in Education (Gardner-Webb), and a Reading Certification. With 20 years of classroom experience—5 in elementary and 15 in intermediate—I specialize in math instruction, reading support, and Common Core strategies. I currently homeschool two middle school students (6th & 7th grade) and believe every child can succeed with the right support.

I attended Western Carolina University where I was a flute major up to the end of my junior year where I got carpal tunnel and had to switch majors. I taught beginner band and gave flute lessons with the high school students.
