I'm Dr. Gary and I was the owner of a small animal veterinary clinic for more than 30 years. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in veterinary science and a D.V.M. (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree. In addition, I have also obtained a Master of Arts degree in Theological Studies. After I sold my veterinary practice, I taught at a Christian school at the Upper School level of 6th to 12th grade. I was pleased to teach a variety of classes, such as Anatomy & Physiology, Psychology, and Bible to the high school students, while also teaching Physical Science and Health at the middle school level.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching and helping students on their educational journey. I can remember the teachers I most respected throughout my time in high school and college were the ones who were passionate about their subject and expected the same from their students. However, I realize that sometimes a lack of understanding of the material being presented can lead to a disinterested or dejected student, and this is where a good tutor can make a tremendous difference. I was always available to assist my students, whether in the morning before classes or after school, and it was always a blessing when I would hear them say with a smile on their face, "Now I understand!"
