I have been reading the Bible since early childhood and since just before university I have almost always attended regular Bible studies on either a local level or in accredited Bible institutes. I have completed coursework in Bible fundamentals, Bible history, Old and New Testament studies and Biblical exegesis. I have also done regular cross cultural analyses of various Biblical topics and claims.
I have over ten years' experience working with pre-college and college level learners who have needed to identify, crystalize, articulate and activate their career paths. I have used various online and software based sources to help students hone in on their specific job and work related interests and skills/talents. I have also helped students practice mock interviews and workplace related problem solving role plays.
In addition to my bachelor's degree in public communication (which included extensive coursework in public speaking, oral interpretation, rhetoric, and debate/forensics), I also spent three years tutoring college students who needed to deliver various types of speeches: extemporaneous, informational, and persuasive. Besides helping students prepare their outlines and notes, I also served as a sounding board and audience for students who wished to practice their speeches. When feasible, I also visited the college classrooms and sat in the back of the room to provide the students with a familiar face in the crowd when they actually delivered their speeches.
Many of my students have gone on to be college and university graduates.
