Hello everyone, my name is Dean, and for the past three years, I have been a student at the University of South Carolina. The field of study I chose was political science with a minor in history. I am 26 years old and plan on becoming a history and government teacher in high school when I graduate next June. I really enjoy politics, history, and English, which I know can be boring to some students. I hope to change the way history and government is portrayed in the classroom from a boring lesson read out of the book to something that can be entertaining to students. I have had success in the past by making history and government fun to students and grades improved because of it. I have tutored students in the past with success and hope to help other students in the future successes of knowing history, for not knowing history or have a basic understanding of government we will make the same mistakes over again.
