Hi, my name is Michelle. I am a college graduate from the University of South Carolina, where I majored in Computer Science. I was on the Dean's List for multiple semesters while I earned my degree there. I am on the path to becoming a graduate student soon. I currently tutor at a local college in both math and computer science. At this college, I aid students both inside and outside the classroom. The majority of the time, I help multiple students at once, so one-on-one sessions are a great change of pace. My favorite way to conduct tutoring sessions is by using the Socratic method. I also like to use direct teaching if the previous approach does not seem to click. Aside from my current college job, I also tutored K-12 math at Mathnasium and taught elementary-age kids how to code in a classroom setting at STEM For Kids. I have been teaching/tutoring for almost 3 years now, and I have loved every minute of it. I am so passionate about education that I decided to go to graduate school soon so I can become a professor in the near future. I am incredibly excited to aid you or your kid in this educational journey. If you still have questions or want to schedule a session, please feel free to message me, and I'd be happy to answer.
