As a former chemical engineering student, I understand how daunting topics like calculus, differential equations, thermodynamics, or process control can feel. I graduated from Montana State University in 2021 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering (Highest Honors) and a Mathematics minor, excelling in rigorous courses such as Calculus I-III, Organic and Physical Chemistry, Fluid Dynamics, Reactor Kinetics, and more. Today, I draw on that foundation daily as a process automation and controls engineer at a small firm, solving real-world problems in optimization, automation, and system design.
My approach focuses on empowering students to master the “why” and “how” behind problems—not just memorize answers. I break down complex concepts step by step, adapt to each learner’s style, and use my perspective as both a former student who navigated these challenges and a practicing engineer to make ideas clear, relevant, and approachable.
