Hello to all potential students and their parents. Please allow me this time to explain to you my interest in becoming a tutor. I have always been a person who is interested in working with children. I have been in the Social Services field for the last 16 years and have enjoyed all my interactions with children and their parents from various backgrounds. I enjoy seeing children grow and learn and get excited when a child has an eagerness to learn and expand their horizons.
I have worked with children of various ages with their school work and have always had an open door policy to all of my clients. I have volunteered at various after school institutions to help children with their homework or daily lessons.
Tutoring is not just helping students overcome their difficult spots in certain subjects, it is also a time to allow a child to express themselves by allowing them to give their input and suggestions. I am quite adept in the subject of English and from grade school to college I excelled in that subject. I would enjoy the opportunity to become involved with any children that need help in the above subject and hopefully, as a team, we can work together to make you proficient and comfortable in the subject.
