Hello! My name is Molli, and I am a certified elementary educator with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Furman University. I am currently a fourth-grade teacher in South Carolina and have several years of experience teaching and supporting elementary students in reading, math, writing, and test preparation. In addition to my classroom experience, I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, which allows me to stay current on effective teaching practices and educational research.
I specialize in elementary reading, math, science, writing, homework support, study skills, and test preparation for students in grades K–5. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence while helping students master skills through individualized instruction. Every child learns differently, so I tailor lessons to meet each student’s needs, learning style, and goals. I believe learning should be engaging, encouraging, and challenging in a positive way. Whether a student needs remediation, enrichment, or extra practice, I strive to create a supportive environment where they can succeed.
As a classroom teacher, I have experience working with students of varying academic levels and learning needs. I regularly use data-driven instruction, hands-on learning activities, and targeted interventions to help students make meaningful academic growth. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades and test scores but also to develop the confidence and independence they need to become successful learners.
I offer a free consultation to discuss your child’s needs and determine how I can best support their learning goals. I kindly request at least an 1 hour notice for lesson cancellations whenever possible.
