I am currently an undergraduate student pursuing my Associate Degree in Business at Greenville Technical College, where my coursework has strengthened my skills in math, writing, and English. Throughout my academic journey, I have often been the person classmates turn to when they need help understanding difficult concepts, and those experiences helped me discover how much I enjoy teaching. I have worked with elementary, middle school, and early high school students in one on one settings, helping them improve their reading comprehension, writing clarity, and confidence in foundational math skills.
My tutoring approach is patient, supportive, and centered on building true understanding rather than memorization. I guide students step by step through problems and always explain the reasoning behind each answer so they can apply the skill independently. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, so I create an encouraging environment where mistakes are treated as part of the learning process. This helps students develop confidence and reduces the anxiety that often comes with academic challenges.
Whether we are strengthening basic math foundations, organizing essays, or improving reading fluency, my goal is to help students build strong study habits and long term academic skills. I am committed to meeting each student where they are and adapting my teaching style to fit their needs. Most importantly, I want every student to feel proud of their progress and capable of achieving more than they thought possible.
