Piedmont Technical College - Greenwood
Hey! My name is Clayton S. I am a first year college student at Piedmont Technical College here in Greenwood, SC. Currently, I am enrolled in the Funeral Services program. I graduated from Lugoff-Elgin high school as a member of the National Honors Society in 2012. I did particularly well in English (grammar, reading, writing) as well as classes such as Philosophy and Psychology. I also possess a background in theological studies, and hope to attend seminary after college.
I have been a worship leader for 6 years, and currently serve in that capacity at a church here in town. I sing, play guitar, and also write music. I have a passion for working with those younger than myself, and truly enjoy mentoring and teaching. I feel that God has given every person areas in their lives in which they excel, and I consider it a blessing to share those gifts with others.
My teaching method is simple: be patient, be accepting, and be thorough. I belive that there are no subjects out there that are impossible to grasp. All it takes is someone with that understanding to take their time and explain the material in a way that is understandable to the student. I have always prided myself on being open to change and patient with opposition, and tutoring is no exception. Thank you for taking your time to read this, and I look forward to working with your student! Hey! My name is Clayton S. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
