I LOVED my time working with Jan. She is an active listener, asks a lot of smart questions and is willing to go to the extreme to help me. When I "outgrew" her ability, she was quick to identify where we were and didn't waste any more of my time (or $$), recommending I find someone more qualified for my specific needs. Jan is an excellent tutor, I highly recommend her. I had some specific issues in InDesign that I needed to solve. She researched various solutions and taught me very patiently, sharing our screens and sending me a followup video so I didn't need to worry about taking notes. I have used Photoshop for many years and was looking for someone who would acknowledge what I was already familiar with and explain those things I wasn't. She was exactly right there with me. I could tell her that i already knew "x" and she would say "ok good" and skip it or if there were differences in it compared to PS she would explain those. If you are already familiar with any of the Adobe products and want to learn InDesign, I can assure you Jan is the one for you! And if you are completely new to InDesign, I am sure she would be perfect for you as well. She has a great personality and seems to be very adaptable to a person's learning curve. She had a tentative agenda ready for review and that helped a lot. I highly recommend Jan to anyone who wants to learn any of the Adobe products!
