I believe that a valuable tutor will enable her students to truly understand the material and thus become more self-sufficient.

As a collegiate writing consultant and tutor for three years, I offer solid tutoring experience. I worked especially well with international and ESL students and had several students who enjoyed my tutoring so much that they would target my hours in the Writing Center. The teaching principles I learned and developed during my time as a writing tutor easily transition to my area of expertise—science. I also spent some time as a peer mentor for general biology students.

My passion for the natural sciences has been cultivated by three years of intense undergraduate coursework in a topnotch science program, enabling me to score in the top 8% of the nation on the MCAT (medical college admissions test). My premed degree is equivalent to a biology major with a chemistry minor, and I also took a year of physics. Having also completed my first year of medical school, I am well-qualified to tutor anatomy and physiology.

Excellent Biochemistry Tutor

Julie is one of the best biochemistry tutor you can get. She understands the material and is able to teach it in a way a student can understand. I would highly recommend her biology and biochemistry.

Excellent tutor

Julie is an amazing tutor. My daughter loves her. She wasn't doing very well in her Biology class but now there is a steady improvement in her grades. She is excellent about communicating with me about my daughters progress during their sessions and if we message her she responds right away. Julie is an excellent tutor. She was able to get my daughter on track with college level Chemistry in two short sessions over the Thanksgiving break all while my daughter was ill.
