I am a 61 year old man. I have a bachelor of science degree in biology/pre-med but I began college as a physics major so I have considerable background in most of the physical sciences and mathematics.

Ellis is Thorough and Genuinely Cares
Ellis helped me review some mechanisms for an organic chemistry final and was extremely helpful. He genuinely cares that you understand the content you’re learning, not just getting the correct answer. He applauds you for previous knowledge and doesn’t shun you for getting something wrong. He is very thoughtful and wants to see you succeed, I couldn’t recommend him enough as a tutor!

Very Knowledgeable
Cai and I reviewed linear equations in slope-intercept form, point-slope form, and standard form. We practiced graphing linear equations in slope-intercept form by hand. We discussed the slopes of parallel and perpendicular lines. We reviewed different methods for finding the solutions to a system of simultaneous linear equations. We practiced solving a system of simultaneous linear equations by graphing on the TI-84 Plus graphing calculator and also by using matrices.

I book a session with Ellis for help with mastering physical and chemical foundations concepts on the MCAT. Ellis is very patient, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the content, and has a good understanding of the concepts as they apply to the test itself.
