I am currently a veterinary student at the University of Georgia, where I am completing rigorous coursework in animal health, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and clinical medicine. Prior to veterinary school, I gained extensive experience working in several veterinary clinics, which strengthened both my medical knowledge and communication skills. In addition to my academic background, I have research experience and serve in leadership roles within student organizations, including being vice president of the student AVMA chapter and president-elect of the internal medicine club.

My teaching and mentoring experience comes from both formal and informal settings. I have experience helping peers and younger students understand challenging science concepts through one-on-one support, collaborative study sessions, and mentorship-style guidance. My teaching approach focuses on breaking complex topics into manageable, understandable pieces while adapting explanations to each student’s learning style. I prioritize patience, encouragement, and active engagement so students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in the material.

I have also volunteered with both children and elderly individuals, which helped me develop strong interpersonal and communication skills across a wide range of ages and learning needs. My experience includes peer tutoring, academic collaboration, and supportive educational environments rather than traditional classroom teaching. Through these experiences, I have learned how to create a positive and approachable learning atmosphere that helps students feel supported while working toward their goals.
