As a future resident physician beginning training in 2026, I have spent the past eight years deeply immersed in science, critical thinking, and applied medicine. I earned my undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, which provided me with a rigorous foundation in chemistry, physics, mathematics, and problem-solving. Medical school further strengthened my understanding of biology, physiology, and disease processes while refining my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and efficiently.

Throughout college and medical school, I have mentored and tutored peers and junior students in subjects including chemistry, biology, physiology, and exam preparation. I have worked primarily in one-on-one settings, helping students break down difficult material into manageable, logical steps. My approach focuses on understanding, not memorization. I emphasize building strong foundations first, then layering in higher-level concepts so students gain confidence and long-term mastery.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect scientific concepts to real-world clinical applications. As someone actively training in medicine, I bring practical insight into why the material matters and how it is used. I tailor each session to the student’s learning style, whether that means visual explanations, practice problems, or step-by-step walkthroughs. My goal is not just to help students improve grades, but to help them think critically and become independent learners.

Approved Subjects

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

Tutored students in calculus, and other sciences. I enjoy helping others learn math. Math has been my favorite subject since elementary school. Completed Algebra, precalculus, calculus, linear algebra, multivariable calculus, and differential equations.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

Tutored students in calculus, and other sciences. I enjoy helping others learn math. Math has been my favorite subject since elementary school. Completed Algebra, precalculus, calculus, linear algebra, multivariable calculus, and differential equations.
Anatomy

Anatomy

Medical doctor graduating 2026. I have completed many courses of anatomy and physiology. I have completed 8 clinical rotations in surgery (general surgery, oncologic surgery, neurosurgery, and ENT)
Chemistry

Chemistry

I have many years of experience tutoring students in general chemistry and organic chemistry. I completed my bachelors degree in chemical engineering which required dozens of classes involving chemistry, some of which were general chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, and chemistry labs.
Prealgebra

Prealgebra

I have a strong foundation in mathematics, beginning with prealgebra and progressing through advanced coursework including calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations. Through my tutoring experience, I’ve worked with students at various levels, helping them build confidence in core skills like arithmetic, fractions, equations, and problem-solving strategies. I focus on breaking down fundamental concepts into simple, intuitive steps so students develop a solid understanding rather than relying on memorization. My approach is patient, structured, and tailored to each student’s learning style, which is especially important at the prealgebra level where building a strong foundation is key.
Spanish

Spanish

I am fluent in both Spanish and English and have extensive experience communicating in academic and professional settings. As a medical student, I have used Spanish in clinical and community environments, including working with Spanish-speaking patients and families. I help students improve conversational fluency, pronunciation, grammar, and comprehension through structured practice tailored to their goals. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence, cultural competence, and real-world communication skills.
