I would enjoy the opportunity to assist you in preparing for the bar exam. My combination of experiences is unparalleled. I have developed over many years employed in bar exam positions, a teaching method, additional materials, and teaching style that has been very effective. The pass rates for my students, almost all repeat takers, has been considerably higher than the national pass rate for repeat takers. By way of example, for the February 2024 exam administration, when I had my largest number of students, 12 of my 15 students passed, and the national average was I believe 33%. I obviously cannot and do not guarantee results - I'm simply suggesting, based on evidence, that my tutoring practice is effective.

I have been instructing groups and tutoring bar examinees for over 6 years, including for commercial bar prep companies (BarMax, BarBri, Themis(UWorld)). I have been doing private tutoring since the July 2023 exam. I was an adjunct professor for Campbell University Law School for two summers (2022, 2023) in its bar preparedness program. I was a bar examiner for 7 years for the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners, where I wrote an essay question for each exam administration and graded all responses. I have graded approximately 7,500 actual bar exam essay responses.

These combined experiences - as a bar examiner, law school educator and bar prep instructor and tutor - cannot be found elsewhere. I love teaching, I love helping future lawyers, and I love developing relationships with law school graduates. I take my students' success personally - I am almost as nervous on bar exam day as the students are. It would be an honor to work with you!
