Hi! My name is Asquan, and I’m currently a sophomore at the College of Charleston pursuing a B.S. in Accounting and Finance. I’ve always had a passion for both mathematics and writing, and I love helping others find clarity and confidence in these subjects. I began tutoring in high school and now work as a private tutor at my college, where I’ve assisted over 120 students in understanding complex ideas through simple, encouraging explanations. While I’ve primarily worked with college students (ages 18+), I’m excited to begin offering virtual tutoring for grades K–12 as well.
Throughout high school and college, I’ve helped peers and students with the following subjects: Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, SAT Math, English 1–3, AP Language & Composition, and SAT Reading. My approach is calm, step-by-step, and centered on meeting each student where they are. I believe every student can make meaningful progress when supported with patience, guidance, and clear communication.
My sessions are friendly, flexible, and fully focused on the student’s goals. I aim to create a comfortable environment where questions are always welcome and learning feels less intimidating. Whether you’re looking for math support, essay feedback, or general study help, I’m here to make the process easier and more rewarding. I look forward to meeting you soon
