Hi, I'm Vicky! I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at MIT, a field that has a strong foundation in mathematics and analytical problem-solving. Through my coursework, I have completed advanced classes in algebra, precalculus, calculus, and applied math, and I enjoy applying these concepts in my engineering studies. I am proud to share that I currently hold a 5.0/5.0 GPA and have been recognized as both a Gates Scholar and a GE Next Engineers Scholar, achievements that reflect my dedication to academic excellence and my commitment to learning. I genuinely enjoy working with students and helping them succeed academically, so hope to create a encouraging and supportive environment for all students.
Although I do not have formal tutoring experience, I have spent many hours working with peers and younger students in understanding math concepts and preparing for exams. I believe patience is the key to helping students whether it is working through a challenging problem or understanding a difficult concept. I want to help students not only improve their grades but also develop problem-solving skills that will also help them in future courses.
I currently tutor Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Precalculus, & Calculus online. I am easy to reach and have fast responses, so feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a session! Looking forward to working with you!
