I am a certified educator with a strong academic background and extensive experience providing individualized instruction in reading, writing, math, and study skills. I hold a graduate degree in education and am currently completing a Ph.D. in Education, with a research focus on student learning, skill development, and academic transitions. My education and training have equipped me with a deep understanding of instructional design, assessment, and evidence-based teaching practices, which I apply directly when tutoring students across subject areas.

I have over ten years of experience teaching and tutoring students from elementary through high school in both classroom and one-on-one settings. As a high school special education teacher, I provide targeted instruction in reading comprehension, written expression, foundational math, and executive functioning skills. I work closely with students who have learning differences, attention challenges, or gaps in foundational skills, and I regularly adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs. In addition to classroom teaching, I have provided individual academic support focused on skill remediation, organization, and academic confidence.

My tutoring approach is structured, supportive, and individualized. I focus on breaking concepts into clear, manageable steps and using explicit instruction, guided practice, and feedback to help students master skills.
