Hi, I'm Raena, I am currently a senior majoring in Biological Sciences at Clemson University, with a strong academic foundation across core subjects including English, mathematics, science, and social studies. Throughout my education, I have consistently excelled academically and have developed strong communication and organizational skills that allow me to explain concepts clearly and at an age-appropriate level.

I have several years of tutoring and teaching experience working with elementary and middle-school students, primarily in K–6. In high school, I served as a one-on-one tutor for a family over multiple years, supporting students in English, math, grammar, and social studies. This experience taught me how to adapt my teaching style to different learning needs, reinforce school curriculum, and build confidence in younger learners. During college, I have continued tutoring and have also worked as an academic mentor, guiding students through study strategies, time management, and goal setting.

My teaching experience has taken place in one-on-one settings, small groups, and mentoring environments, both paid and volunteer. I typically use a patient, structured, and encouraging approach, breaking down material into manageable steps, using examples, and checking for understanding throughout each session.
