The first thing you should know about me is how dedicated I become when working on something important to me. Working with students in general is VERY important to me. Currently, I'm in college studying to become a future middle school teacher! My concentrations in college are in English and History, so they are (of course) my favorites, and I am very passionate about teaching them.
I've had previous tutoring experience with six students so far, and I hope to have plenty more! The students I've tutored have ranged in diversity from a 2nd grader struggling in math to a fellow college student needing tips on his English papers. Passing on my study habits to my high-school aged sister and middle-school aged brother has given me a lot of insight on what works and what doesn't with different students as well. Most importantly, I'll give it all I've got to help students get the grades they desire.
I've tutored in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade math, and I catch on easily to most problems in this age group.
I've corrected many high school and college English papers, along with my own, making no less than a B-. (Keep in mind, I cannot write the paper for the student.)
History is memorization, and I have study habits that can conquer any history class's standards.
As a tutor, I'm easy to get along with, positive, and a strong motivator. I admit that I will not have the answer or the power to help you with every question, but I will do my best. Contact me if interested!
