About Emily

Bio

I am a Critical Care Paramedic and Firefighter with over 17 years of experience - licensed in multiple states and NREMT-certified since 2009. My career has taken me from fire-based EMS and private services to abroad locations such as Antarctica and Ascension Island.

I have experience teaching EMS at the college level and provide tutoring for NREMT prep for EMT, AEMT, and Paramedics with a 98% pass rate and over 2,600 students taught. I also teach Anatomy and Physiology, Critical Care, and...

I am a Critical Care Paramedic and Firefighter with over 17 years of experience - licensed in multiple states and NREMT-certified since 2009. My career has taken me from fire-based EMS and private services to abroad locations such as Antarctica and Ascension Island.

I have experience teaching EMS at the college level and provide tutoring for NREMT prep for EMT, AEMT, and Paramedics with a 98% pass rate and over 2,600 students taught. I also teach Anatomy and Physiology, Critical Care, and Pharmacology. My instruction includes specialized skills such as EKG interpretation, ACLS, PALS, and NAEMT courses.

Couldn't have asked for better !

I came to Emily for help with my NREMT exam since I failed a couple times and needed the help learning how to study correctly. She really broke it all down showing me where it was I needed to focus and taught me how to think of the questions correctly. After 5 sessions I took my exam again and passed in 70 questions!! After being out of a study /school environment for some time , those skills can get rusty and it was exactly what I needed.Truly such a difference and would recommend to anyone needing a little extra help , THIS IS THE PLACE (:

Amazing tutor

Couldn’t have asked for a better tutor. I failed my nremt twice and was on my third attempt I came to her a month in advanced. She broke down each subject and gave me something to study for the week and we did a lot of practice questions that got harder as I progressed. The NREMT Tutor you need!

Emily is the perfect tutor to help you to be laser-focused and better prepared to gauge NREMT Exam styled - questions and critical topics like 'Lung sounds' (the brass tacks). I originally failed my 1st exam and was on the cusp of passing so Emily is exactly who you need to have in your corner in the shorter - term to get over the finish line (I passed this time around!). Emily is patient, easy to talk to, and was able to fully break down questions that I had a tougher time completely / initially grasping and is solid on giving feedback (identifying) as well as giving additional resources for specific topics I needed to practice / drill on in our 6 sessions together. Not only that, she is also kind, flexible, and has a good sense of humor - highly recommended!
