I'm Jules! I graduated from University of South Carolina with a Bachelor's degree majoring in Psychology, with a minor in English. Throughout my career, I've been published multiple times for both my creative and academic writing, mostly consisting of research essays and creative non-fiction.

Growing up, although I was very successful academically, I struggled with completing assignments and paying attention in my classes. These issues went largely unresolved until college, where I looked into getting an ADHD assessment.

During this time, I spent a lot of time having to learn how to participate in my education in a new, more productive way. A lot of this time spent was time spent researching on different methods of teaching and learning, and picking and choosing which ways worked best for me. This experience and struggle with educating myself highlighted a pre-existing interest I had in education, and helped inspire me to continue in my psychology degree in order to help others.

I have on and off been an educator since I was fourteen years old, where I was an assistant music teacher and camp counselor at a local music studio's summer camp for ages 3-6. For the next few summers, I continued this job, where I gained more responsibilities as an educator, as well as began teaching older ages of kids. In college, during the summers, I worked at Pattison's Academy summer camp, where I got to work with a wide variety of ages (~6-22) of campers with various disabilities. Also while in college, I worked as an editor for other students' academic and creative assignments.
