I worked as a physics and math tutor during my undergraduate career at The Citadel, this is where I learned to love teaching my peers and where my interest started. I have taught programming courses at the Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics during summer seminars as well as having led lab courses at The University of Alaska Fairbanks and registered to take courses at The University of Florida for Aerospace Engineering.

All of this is to say for my age I have been exposed to a wide variety of students and methods to solving problems. In addition my understanding of college life is not so far in the past I do not remember it and how hard of a balance it can be. Education and tutoring is a multifaceted approach that must take into consideration the unique circumstances posed by those we instruct.

I have tutored my peers unofficially while I studied abroad in Nicosia, Cyprus and at all my universities. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Physics with Magna Cum Laude while operating as a school sponsored tutor in Physics and a summer instructor at the Governor’s School.
