I know that many students struggle with math, and some even say they hate it. But I truly believe that with the right strategy, anyone can understand it and even start to enjoy it. I have always been an honors student and have loved math since childhood. I believe that when math is taught in a way that makes sense, it feels much less intimidating. After working with me, students not only start doing better on exams, but they also gain confidence in math and even start enjoying it. Since math is such a foundational subject, I think it is really important to build strong skills early on. That's why I focus on teaching the right approach from the beginning.
I have over 6 years of experience teaching math to elementary and middle school students. I specialize in Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, Probability and Statistics. My goal is to make math feel less stressful and more engaging. My teaching style is friendly, supportive and tailored to each student's needs. I know every child learns differently, so I take time to figure out what works best for them - whether that means breaking things down step-by-step, using visuals or applying real-world examples they can relate to.
