I take tutoring very seriously but I make sure to keep things light and not stressful. I believe when you’re stressed you don’t retain information as well. I genuinely love math and helping others understand the subject. I find it rewarding to be able to help someone find their way when they're lost and have them understanding the material by the end of the lesson. I try to understand the way the person I am tutoring learns best and build on that to make sure they are soaking in the content we are looking over.
I have loved learning and teaching math since I was in kindergarten. I achieved a 30 on the math portion of the ACT back in high school. While working on my bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, I have completed high level math courses such as Calculus 1, 2 & 3, as well as Differential Equations.
