I hold a Master of Arts in History and have over two years of professional teaching experience in middle and high school classrooms, working with students from grades 6 through 12. My academic background, combined with my practical classroom experience, allows me to tutor effectively in U.S. History, World History, Civics, and Government, as well as academic writing and reading comprehension. I have also served as a certified NASP archery instructor, where I taught students in both structured and flexible environments—an experience that has helped shape my student-centered approach.

My teaching style is highly relational, discussion-based, and focused on developing critical thinking skills. I believe in helping students not just memorize content but understand its relevance, context, and application. Whether we’re breaking down a DBQ, analyzing primary sources, or crafting persuasive essays, my goal is to make each session both intellectually engaging and confidence-building. I am comfortable working with learners at various levels, including those who struggle with traditional instruction and those who are preparing for exams like the SAT or AP U.S. History.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students while holding high academic expectations. I’ve seen first-hand how the right support can transform a student’s outlook and performance, and I bring that same level of care and dedication to tutoring. Whether your student needs help catching up, staying motivated, or excelling in advanced coursework, I’m here to support them every step of the way.

I hold a Master’s degree in History with a strong academic background in anthropology, including coursework in cultural and archaeological studies. I have taught both middle and high school students, helping them explore the development of human societies, belief systems, and cultural traditions. My teaching approach connects historical context with anthropological insight, fostering critical thinking and engagement. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Arts in History, giving me a strong foundation in both the practical and theoretical sides of the criminal justice system. My undergraduate coursework included criminology, law enforcement, corrections, and legal systems. I combine that academic training with my experience as an educator to help students understand key concepts like due process, criminal law, the court system, and ethical decision-making. My teaching style focuses on real-world application and critical analysis, making complex topics easier to grasp and more engaging for learners.

I hold a Master of Arts in History and have experience teaching world religions and biblical history to middle and high school students. My academic training includes extensive study of religious movements, sacred texts, and the cultural and historical contexts in which belief systems developed. I specialize in helping students understand the origins, practices, and significance of major world religions, with a focus on comparative analysis and respectful discussion. Whether studying Christianity, Judaism, Islam, or ancient belief systems, my approach is academically grounded, culturally sensitive, and designed to spark curiosity and understanding.
