I hold a Master of Arts in History and have over two years of professional teaching experience in middle and high school classrooms, working with students from grades 6 through 12. My academic background, combined with my practical classroom experience, allows me to tutor effectively in U.S. History, World History, Civics, and Government, as well as academic writing and reading comprehension. I have also served as a certified NASP archery instructor, where I taught students in both structured and flexible environments—an experience that has helped shape my student-centered approach.

My teaching style is highly relational, discussion-based, and focused on developing critical thinking skills. I believe in helping students not just memorize content but understand its relevance, context, and application. Whether we’re breaking down a DBQ, analyzing primary sources, or crafting persuasive essays, my goal is to make each session both intellectually engaging and confidence-building. I am comfortable working with learners at various levels, including those who struggle with traditional instruction and those who are preparing for exams like the SAT or AP U.S. History.
