You can't go wrong with Emily!
Jennifer, 10 lessons with EmilyI had Emily mostly for health assessment, but also for pharmacology 2. I'm an FNP student at Simmons University, and without Emily, I wouldn't have been so successful. She's smart, easy going, flexible and never made me feel like I was stupid when I didn't know something that I probably should have. Highly recommended!
Hello Learners!
My name is Emily. I am a nurse practitioner with an MS from Clemson. I started working in a tutoring center on a University campus in 2012 and have received certification as a professional tutor from the College Reading and Learning Association. I now also teach at several local universities. I adore my job and love seeing my learners grow every day! I believe tutoring should be held in a non-threatening and open environment. My students are able to come to me with any...

Such an awesome teacher!!!
This was my first meeting with Emily, and within 30 minutes of our meeting I knew I had found exactly what I was looking for! I can’t wait for our second session! Highly recommend! If you’re on the edge about booking with her, do it!

Knowledgeable, role model and caring tutor
My daughter needed help with A&P. Emily was available and willing to jump right in and help on the same day. My daughter is usually shy but she felt Emily was approachable, easy to talk to and definitely interested in future bookings. Thank you!!

Awesome. She is an excellent and knowledgeable tutor!
She is very prepared with her review, and very knowledgeable about the content being delivered. Very highly recommend! I would tell anyone who is looking to get ready for the NP exam to seek her out.

Knowledgeable and a huge help
Extremely helpful tutoring session. She walked through the course objectives and material covering the areas that I was having difficulty with. I would highly recommend to other students!

Life send
Great! Every week we build and she is very supportive to make it easier to learn and build your confidence. Seriously I feel confident now then when we started.

Flexible style and eager to analyze
Emily was always willing to find answers for me that were beyond the materials used in the course and she was willing to do a phone study session with me when I didn't have computer access--which actually turned out to be even more beneficial! She always has good review questions for me. She organizes information we're studying to make it flow logically.

Knowledgeable, open, supportive, and engaging.
Emily met with me for a tutoring lesson in my Health Assessment course for my FNP/MSN program. We went over material I asked of her without any forewarning on my part. She went with it with grace, was open, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. She made me feel at ease, and comfortable asking even those questions that perhaps I should have known, but gave me the confidence to ask anyway. I went away feeling more than ready to do my physical assessment. She is a gem!

Very informative and effective tutor
Med calculations. Emily reviews formulas and applied them to actual practice examples. This was very helpful information which resulted in an improvement in my understanding of the underlying principles.

Knowledgeable and patient
Emily helped me put all the pieces together. She used case studies and real life examples to help solidify the material being learned. She reviewed the PowerPoint supplied but not slide by slide, rather integrating critical thinking into the slides creating a discussion. This method really helped to pull everything together with solid knowledge!
