Hello! I graduated cum laude from UNC at Greensboro with a BA in Psychology and a minor in American Sign Language/Deaf Culture. I have a year's experience in tutoring English and digital storytelling, as well as a year's experience in mentoring and teaching study and test-taking skills. My work experience since that time has been full of on-the-job tutoring experience for topics as general as math and Microsoft Excel to those as specific as Medicaid policy.
What I will bring to our discussions is a passion for learning and for explaining what I know. Whenever I'm explaining a topic, I like to find as many different ways to explain it as possible, relating the topic to something concrete or personal; we all have different learning styles and backgrounds, and I believe in using that information to our own advantage!
