Hi there! My name is Tommy, and I’m a third-year Doctor of Physical Therapy student at the University of Rhode Island. I also earned my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from URI, graduating summa cum laude. My academic and clinical background gives me a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and rehabilitation sciences, and I truly enjoy helping other students master these subjects with confidence.

Throughout my studies, I have tutored undergraduate peers in anatomy, kinesiology, and movement science courses. I have also led group review sessions for lab-based classes, helping students connect classroom concepts to real-world clinical applications. My approach combines clear explanations, active recall techniques, and customized study strategies that fit each student’s learning style.

I specialize in subjects such as human anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, exercise science, and movement analysis. I also work with students on PT school prerequisite coursework including anatomy, physics, biology, and chemistry, as well as foundational NPTE preparation.

My teaching philosophy is that true understanding comes from active learning rather than memorization. I focus on breaking down complex material into manageable concepts and showing how they apply in clinical and athletic settings. My goal is to make sure every student feels supported, confident, and capable, not only for their next exam but also for their future in healthcare or fitness.
