Hello! I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and practicing outpatient physical therapist with a strong background in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and movement science. Throughout my undergraduate and doctoral education, I studied human anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, biomechanics, and other health sciences extensively. I also hold a dry needling certification, which has strengthened my understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy. In my clinical work, I use this knowledge daily to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and educate people about how their bodies work.
My approach to tutoring is to help students understand concepts rather than simply memorize facts. I break challenging topics into manageable steps, use visual explanations and practical examples when helpful, and adjust the pace to each student’s needs. Explaining complex ideas clearly is an important part of my work as a physical therapist, and I aim to bring that same patience and clarity to tutoring. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, reviewing difficult material, and building confidence in their knowledge.
I’m excited to work with high school and college students, including those preparing for healthcare careers. Whether you’re studying for an anatomy or physiology exam, reviewing body systems, or trying to connect classroom concepts to real-world applications, I’ll work with you to identify your goals and develop a focused study plan. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where you can make meaningful progress.
