Hi I'm Ahmed! I graduated magna cum laude with an MD degree from Cairo back in 2015. I successfully completed an internship year rotating between the medicine and surgery departments at Cairo University Hospitals before starting my residency in Cardio-thoracic Surgery at the well renowned Egyptian National Heart Institute. Two years later, in 2018 I began a three year research fellowship at the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine - Brown University in Rhode Island; where I am now.
I have always found a passion in teaching both basic and clinical medical sciences. During my internship year, I did a great job tutoring students that needed help with Anatomy (cadaveric dissection included), pathophysiology, and pharmacology. Later, as a junior surgical resident, I enjoyed taking time to share what I learned regarding the application of basic science principles in clinical medicine with interns and medical students.
I am fortunate to have gone over the array of resources that are available for the USMLE exams; from the review texts such as Gouljian Pathology and lectures Sketchy videos to the gamut of question banks such as UWorld and Amboss. This puts me in a position to effectively help you get through First Aid and the question banks with an excellent understanding of the core concepts and applying these concepts to clinical vignettes and situations in a practical manner.
Besides the USMLE exams, I can be of help with your medical school courses, especially anatomy, pathophysiology and pharmacology.
