I have been working in the ESL field for over 20 years now. During college I spent a year living in Spain and started learning Spanish there. The experience of learning another language is humbling.

After college, I went and lived internationally and helped students throughout South America and Puerto Rico learn English. I worked as a private tutor and also a grade school teacher during my years abroad. I also have been working for a major standardized testing company for over 20 years now. I specifically work in the department of TOEFL. I have worked with students from different cultures and also adults hoping to improve their conversation skills.

My main interests and strengths are in the TOEFL exam, ESL general classes, Proofreading, Vocab, and conversation classes. I believe in helping students in a judgement free environment. I am particularly experienced with native Spanish speakers and the issues they encounter in learning English.
