I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. I attended a small private college in Maine. After graduating, I accepted a position at Andrioscoggin Hospital in New Hampshire. I worked in bacteriology, hematology, phlebotomy, hematology, and urinalysis. When I returned to Rhode Island, I worked in a Metallurgical Laboratory. This enabled me to worked in Research and Development, Project Management, Quality Control, and eventually became Laboratory Manager.
I received an MBA while working full time. My position allowed for a lot of contact and visits. It also provided me with the knowledge of getting certified as an internal auditor and receiving ISO 9000 standard. Having this variety of experience was wonderful; however, I had the need to share all of this. It is at that time that I returned to school to take the classes needed to become a certified Educator. This is both enjoyable and rewarding. It is the career gives me ability share my experiences and really make a difference in in someone life.
