Hello! My name is Mirabella. I graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with a bachelor’s degree in Politics, minoring in Values and Public Life.
I have been independently tutoring students one-on-one since I was a high school student. I am a huge believer in helping students learn how they learn best. My tutoring approach emphasizes teaching students to think critically and problem solve. We all acquire knowledge differently; I meet students where they’re at and work with them to make learning enjoyable.
My past students have been middle and high school students. I specialize in offering support in writing essays. Learning how to construct a thesis statement, structure a paper, and convey an argument are all important skills for any student to have. I also offer general support in English and all middle and high school level history courses. As a high school student, I earned a “5” on the AP Human Geography, AP World History, and AP Art History exams, and would be excited to tutor a student in any of these subjects. I also earned an IB diploma, and can tutor students in IB English HL 1-2, IB History of the Americas HL 1-2, and Theory of Knowledge.
I want to help your student succeed today, and learn skills that will help them continue to succeed for the rest of their academic career. Please reach out if you have questions for me, or would like to schedule a lesson! I am a quick responder, and I look forward to meeting you and your student.
