I've spent the past three years diving into the world of tutoring, covering subjects like English, Math, and Programming. My journey began as a volunteer with several organizations, where I discovered the joy of helping others learn. This led me to offer private tutoring, where I've had the pleasure of working directly with students, tailoring my approach to fit their unique needs.
Last year, as a freshman at Brown University, I took on the role of an undergraduate teaching assistant in the East Asian Studies department. It’s been an amazing experience, allowing me to engage with students not only in a classroom setting but also through personalized feedback during my office hours. Alongside this, I also work as a Math tutor at Brown's Math Resource Center, guiding students through complex problems and helping them build confidence in their abilities. Additionally, as a bilingual speaker, I’ve spent 2 years tutoring both Chinese and English.
While I specialize in STEM subjects and standardized test prepping, I also love diving into history and psychology, and I'm excited to help students in those areas too. Teaching is not just a job for me—it’s a passion. Seeing my students succeed and grow is incredibly rewarding, and I’m committed to making learning a positive and impactful experience for each of them.
