I am a qualified Mathematics and English tutor with 10 years of teaching experience. I graduated with honors from Wheaton College (MA) with undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and English with a focus on Renaissance Literature, and later graduated with distinction with my Master's from University of Birmingham in the UK with a degree in Shakespeare Education.

I graduated with honors from Wheaton College (MA) with undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and English with a focus on Renaissance Literature, and later graduated with distinction with my Master's from University of Birmingham in the UK with a degree in Shakespeare Education.

I have been teaching high school Calculus, Precalculus, and Engineering for eight years in Massachusetts. I have tutored previously in math and in English, and I have worked with students from the ages of 8 to 22. I have worked primarily in a classroom setting and have extensive virtual teaching experience through the years 2020 to 2022. I have an interdisciplinary approach to education and have attended many professional development seminars on practices in experiential education. I like to teach with a focus in applied mathematics and to help make the material relevant to the student.

Thoughtful, thorough, and professional! My daughter enjoys working with her for pre-calculus. She has been working with Elizabeth for only a few weeks and is already seeing some great improvements! Highly recommend her!

Knowledge and patience

Elizabeth takes time to explain and review the material. My son enjoys the way Elizabeth teaches. He said she has a lot of patience and her voice remains calm, even though his struggling to comprehend the math. She teaches the complete hour of tutoring. Elizabeth is responsible for letting us know on time, if her schedule changes. My son feels more confident in algebra and his grades are improving.
