I am a sophomore at Yale University pursuing a B.A. in Economics, with coursework spanning microeconomics, macroeconomics, game theory, accounting and valuation, calculus, and introductory computer science. Beyond my academic training, I have completed Wall Street Prep certifications in financial and valuation modeling, accounting, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Bloomberg's Market Concepts and Finance Fundamentals certifications. This summer I will be joining J.P. Morgan in their New York office as a Risk Management Fellow in the Commercial and Investment Bank, which I secured as a sophomore through a highly competitive recruiting process.
My tutoring experience comes primarily through Curious Cardinals, where I mentor K-12 students in structured academic settings on a one-on-one basis. I focus on meeting students where they are, identifying gaps in their understanding and building concepts from the ground up rather than simply providing answers. Beyond academic subjects, I specialize in finance and consulting interview preparation, having personally gone through the full recruiting process for both industries at the highest levels as a sophomore. I can coach students on case interviews, behavioral and fit questions, technical finance concepts, and the overall recruiting process from networking through offer negotiation.
In addition to my mentoring work, I have practical experience applying the subjects I tutor. I built financial models and KPI dashboards professionally as a Finance and Accounting Intern at TruVideo, and I have run my own small business since 2023. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and comfortable working with high school and college level students across economics, math, accounting, finance recruiting, and consulting interview preparation.
