I hold a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and Jazz Studies from Sonoma State University, as well as an associate’s degree in Piano Performance and Voice from College of the Siskiyous. My background allows me to teach piano, voice, and music theory with a well-rounded perspective. While I love teaching all aspects of music, I’m especially passionate about music theory—helping students make sense of the building blocks of music in a way that’s clear and practical.
My teaching style is all about meeting you where you are. I break down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps, whether you’re tackling harmony, notation, ear training, or composition. I believe that music should be both rewarding and fun, and I strive to create a learning environment that is encouraging, supportive, and tailored to your goals.
