My most current role was as the Director of Learning Support at Pomfret School, a prestigious boarding school in New England. In this role I played a pivotal part in enhancing the educational experiences of neurodiverse students, ensuring they received the tailored support necessary to thrive academically and personally.
My career also includes extensive experience in tutoring homebound students within the local school system, helping them keep pace with their education despite significant absences. Prior to that I was a 4th grade teacher. I hold a Master's in Education and have continually advanced my expertise through professional development programs offered by Learning and the Brain and Landmark Educational Services. I also have experience with Wilson and Orton-Gillingham and I am IXL certified.

Building confidence

Lauren is providing support to my daughter who has dyslexia. My daughter struggles with executive function skills. In just a few sessions with Lauren, she is displaying more confidence in her ability to organize. She is also working with my daughter on her techniques to approach multiple choice questions as well as organizing essays. My daughter feels more confidence in these areas, too, as a result of Lauren's support.
