I provide individualized preparation for USMLE Steps 1, 2 CK, and 3, the ABSITE, surgery shelf examinations, and medical school coursework. My teaching emphasizes high-yield content, clinical reasoning, question interpretation, test-taking strategy, pacing, and efficient study planning. Rather than simply reviewing missed questions, I help students determine exactly why they are losing points, whether from knowledge gaps, difficulty interpreting clinical vignettes, inefficient reasoning, or uncertainty between competing answer choices. Each session is tailored to the student’s goals and may include focused content review, live question analysis, study-schedule development, and progress tracking.
I also provide coaching for surgical clerkships, sub-internships, oral case presentations, residency personal statements, CVs, and interviews. Having navigated medical school and the residency application process as an international medical graduate before becoming a chief resident at a major academic institution, I can offer practical guidance to both traditional and nontraditional applicants. My goal is to give every student an honest assessment, a structured strategy, and a repeatable reasoning process that produces measurable improvement.
